cinnamon bread


• 250 grams flour

• 7 grams yeast

• 2 tea spoons sugar

• 2 thee spoons vanilla extract

• 3 tablespoons lukewarm water

• 2 teaspoons baking powder

• pinch of salt

• 200 ml non dairy milk

• 1/2 cup sugar

• 2 tablespoons cinnamon

• 1 tablespoons vegan butter

• add the yeast, sugar and water together and let it sit until it becomes foamy

• add the flour, salt and baking powder to a mixing bowl

• add the milk and vanilla extract together

• mix the yeast mixture and milk in with the flour and make a dough ball

• put some flour on your counter and transfer your dough to your counter

• knead and stretch your dough to a nice elastic dough

• transfer your dough back to your mixing bowl, take a kitchen towel and hold it under a hot tap. lay the kitchen towel over your mixing bowl and put it on a warm place

• let it rise for 1 hour

• pre heat your oven at 180°c

• take your dough and knead and stretch again, hold the kitchen towel under the hot tap. put you dough back in the mixing bowl lay the kitchen towel over it and let it rise again for 1 hour

• spread some flour over your counter top, trasfer your dough to your counter top. roll out the dough in to a rectangle

• add the cinnamon and sugar together

• spread the butter out over your dough, then spead the cinnamon sugar over it

• roll up your dough and lay it on a backing tray lined with a baking paper or silicone mat

• let the roll rise for half a hour

• spread some butter on top, put it in the oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown

• serve and enjoy!
