mocha cake




•   300 grams flour

•   2 thee spoons baking powder

•   100 grams cane sugar

•   100 grams brown sugar

•   pinch of salt

•   80 ml coffee

•   150 grams vegan butter

•   half a cup non dairy milk


•   150 grams vegan butter

•   200 grams powdered sugar

•   2,5 tablespoons coffee

•   half a thee spoon vanilla extract

•   30 grams coffee flavoured chocolate


•   preheat the oven at 180°c

•   add the flour, cane sugar, baking powder, salt and the brown sugar to a large mixing bowl and mix together

•   melt the butter

•   add the melted butter, coffee and the milk to a second mixing bowl

•   add your wet ingredients to your dry ingredients and mix them up until smooth

•   put the mixture in a springform and bake for 35 minutes

•   let your butter soften out side the fridge for at least 2 hour

•   add your softened butter, powderedsugar, vanilla extract and coffee to a mixing bowl and mix with a handmixer until it’s a nice cream consistency

•   when your cake is cooled down cut it in half horizontally and add a nice layer of frosting

•   put the cake back together and add the remaining frosting to the rest of the cake

•   chop up the chocolate and sprinkle on top
