veggie sushi

ingredients:

  • 2 nori sheets
  • half of a red bell paper
  • half of a cucumber
  • 1 cup of sushi rice
  • half a thee spoon of salt.

preparation:

  • put 1 liter of water on the stove to boil
  • when the water is boiling put in the sushi rice
  • cut the cucumber with the grain in fourth and remove the inner soft flesh
  • cut the bell paper in strips and put both the bell paper and the cucumber in the refrigerator
  • when your rice is done put it in a clean, moist bowl and add the salt
  • put the bowl of rice in the refrigerator for half an hour
  • put down your bamboo mat and lay the nori sheet on top
  • with a moist spoon you’re gonna put half of the rice on one side of the sheet and even it out
  • lay your veggies on the side with rice on it
  • dampen the empty side of the sheet and role your sushi up from filed side to empty side
  • cut the sushi up in to smaller pieces or leave as is
  • enjoy!
